A woman, who tested positive for novel coronavirus in Thakurgaon, was rescued from Panchagarh through mobile tracking on Tuesday night.
The home quarantined woman fled away from Tikiapara area of Thakurgaon to his father's house in Panchagarh with her husband on Monday.
Thakurgaon health department went to her house in Tikiapara on Tuesday afternoon after she was found positive from the test. But they did not find her there.
Later, Thakurgaon district administration and health department informed the matter to Panchagarh district administration and health department.
District administration with the help of police team rescued the woman in front of Panchagarh Adhunik Hospital at night through mobile tracking and sent her to Rangpur Dedicated Corona Isolation Hospital.
Meanwhile, local administration of Panchagarh put 10 houses including the victim's father one under lockdown.
