Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said steps will be taken to stop inter-district transport movement, if necessary.

"The transport owners are frustrated as the number of passengers decreases. This number automatically will decrease due to the prevailing situation," the Minister came up with the information while briefing at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

Earlier, the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) requested the country people to avoid public transports to keep themselves safe from deadly novel coronavirus.
