My First Pilgrimage

My first pilgrimage was to Madinah situated in Saudi Arabia. We went there to perform Umrah Hajj. I felt blessed to get this opportunity with my whole family. After we had arrived at Madinah, we went to a mosque named Masjid Al-Nabawi and said the prayer of Isha. Then we went for an outing. After one or two hours we came back to our hotel room, had dinner and went to bed.
The next day after Zuhr prayer, we went for some shopping at a mall called Bin Dawood and then a 'Date Garden'. There were plenty of date trees and I was amazed to see the garden.
The next day we went to Makkah. For the Umrah Hajj, we had to walk around the Kaaba seven times and after walking around the Kaaba we had to run from Mount Safa to Mount Marwaa. This is called Sai. Then we had to cut our hair. After doing Umrah we said all the prayers.
On the following day, we went to a city called Taif for sightseeing.  It was so cold that I did not even want to get out of the car. Later on, I came out of the car and took some pictures. We saw a lot of monkeys there. From there we returned to Makkah.
While we were going back, we stopped by a mosque to say our prayers. There we wore our clothes called Ihram and we said the prayer of Asr and the missed prayers of Fajr and Zuhr. After the prayers, we started our journey to Makkah again. On the way, we stopped to buy some fruit. We bought kiwis, mangoes, velvet apples, bananas, pomegranate, strawberries, and apples.After returning to Makkah, we performed Umrah Hajj. We said the prayers of Maghrib and Isha. Then we bought some food from McDonald's for our dinner. We returned to our room at the Hotel Hilton and had our dinner. After dinner, we strolled around. After some time, we returned to the hotel and went to bed.
The following day we went to the mosque to say the prayer of Fajr at three-thirty in the morning. Then we came back to the hotel, had our breakfast and took some rest. After taking rest we went to say the prayer of Zuhr at the mosque of the hotel. Afterwards, we went to Ziarat by bus. We had our lunch on the bus. We got to know a lot of information about our Prophet Muhammad (SM). We went to a place called Wadi Jinn. At Wadi Jinn everything goes to the opposite side.
We started for Makkah again. On the way, we stopped at a restaurant, Albaik to buy our dinner. After dinner, we stopped at a mosque to say the prayer of Isha and the missed prayers of Maghrib and Asr.
The next day we went to Jeddah. There we visited the Red Sea. We did not get the chance to go to many other places because of our flight schedule. From there we went to Jeddah's Albaik restaurant to buy food. From Albaik, we went straight to the 2nd largest airport in Jeddah. We had dinner at the airport. Our flight delayed for 30 minutes, so we waited in the sitting area. From there we could see our plane. After the plane landed, I became very sad to leave Saudi Arabia.
We stayed there for 11 days. Every single day, we said the five daily prayers. Besides the prayers and Hajj rituals, we visited many places.
This pilgrimage was an exceptional experience for me. I wish someday I can perform the main Hajj with my family.
