Bangladeshi barred from entering India

Indian authorities on Monday sent a Bangladeshi citizen back to the country suspecting him as deadly Coronavirus affected.

Agartala Immigration authorities barred Shawkat Ahmed, a resident in Shahebpur area of Feni, from entering India and sent him back through Akhaura Land Port in the morning.

The Agartala Immigration denied Shakwat Ahmed’s entry in India as he visited China two months ago.

Akhaura Land Port Immigration Official Abdul Hamid said they allowed Shakwat to go India after completing all due process and tests.

Indian immigration sent him back from the country without detecting Coronavirus in his body, he added.
