Remove Mithila, Fahmi's intimate photos from internet: HC
The High Court (HC) on Sunday asked the BTRC to remove soon the intimate photos of actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila and film director Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi.
Alongside, the court also asked to remove the photos of late Stamford University student Rubaiyat Sharmin Rumpa's body.
The bench of justices M Enayetur Rahim and Md Mostafizur Rahman passed the order after hearing on a petition regarding this.
Earlier on Thursday, barrister Tahsina Tasnim filed a public interest litigation challenging the legality of not removing all intimate photos of Mithila and Fahmi from facebook, internet and online news portals.
In the beginning of November, some private photos of Mithila with director Fahmi went viral on social media.
Later, different online news portals also made headlines using the photos.
