Mrs Bangladesh famed Munjarin Mahbub Abony has been assigned as the brand ambassador of Walton home appliances. Abony, a social activist, dancer and model, also the winner of married women's beauty pageant 'Mrs Bangladesh', will be involved in various promotional activities of home and kitchen appliances of the country's leading brand Walton for the next one year. An agreement was signed between Abony and Walton home appliances with this regard on October 30. Executive director of Walton Group Md. Humayun Kabir signed the agreement on behalf of his organisation at Walton Corporate office in Dhaka. Walton Group's director Mahabub Alam Mridul, executive director and chief coordinator of marketing Eva Rezwana Nilu, executive directors---Amdadul Hoque Sarker, Uday Hakim, Md. Rayhan and Amin Khan were also present on the occasion. About the deal, Abony said, "Walton is the leading brand in Bangladesh. I am very much proud to be a part of Walton family. As I am a housewife, I know well about the household appliances and their uses. I am confident of promoting Walton products to all specially to the house-wives across the country. As a brand ambassador of Walton home appliance, I will try my level best to represent the brand in home and abroad."

The 'Made in Bangladesh' labeled Walton products are being exporting to different countries including Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa regions. The Walton products have been well received in these countries brightening the image of Bangladesh and bringing foreign currencies as well.
