Barishal Univ gets new VC

Professor Dr Md Sadequl Arefin has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor (VC) of Barishal University.

President Abdul Hamid, also the Chancellor of the university, has assigned Professor Arefin Matin as the new VC of Barishal University, said a gazette notification published by education ministry on Sunday.

According to the notification, Arefin Matin, a senior teacher of Social Work Department of Rajshahi University, will perform his duty as VC for the next four years.
