Result processing software was inaugurated at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia by the authorities of the university on Tuesday for providing transparent results and to reduce students suffering. IU vice-chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the software at conference room of the administrative building. IU pro-vice chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman and its treasurer Prof Dr M Selim Toha were present here as the special guests while Prof Dr Tapan Kumar Gooder, convener of results processing software making committee explained it. Besides, acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, deans of different faculty and chairman's of different department were present at the inaugurating programme. The newly introduced software will provide efforts through three processes including Administration process, Exam committee and Teacher's input and the percentage of errors to make transparent results may be around 2 percent.
University academic office will gather the data of newly admitted students of the university by administration process and the examination committee must saved those information at the second step and the last step the examiner will include the subject wise result at this software. Besides, the students must get their GPA and AGPA through mobile messaging and the students would access the software to know the results.
