A Cox's Bazar bound domestic flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Monday.
Biman's General Manager (PR) Shakil Meraj told this correspondent that the domestic flight of Biman BG-1433 made an emergency landing at around 8:00am on Monday shortly after it had taken off from Shahjalal International Airport for Cox's Bazar via Chattogram.
The flight made the emergency landing after the cockpit crew saw a bird hit the aircraft, he said, adding that the officials didn't find any damage during inspection. After an inspection and all through check-up, it took off again for the destination.
The aircraft and all of its passengers were safe, he added.
