5 fake voters held in Manirampur centre

Five young men were held in Manirampur upazila of Jashore while they tried to cast fake votes at a polling center in upazila parishad elections.

They are Aminur Rahman, Shuvo Hossain, Imon, Ridoy Hossain and Sagar Hossain. All of them are residents of the same upazila.

Mobile court ordered to confine them in a room till the further notice, as the five people stood in the voters line at Shmaranpur Government Primary School and failed to prove them as voters, said Mithu Shekhor Datta, presiding officer of the centre.
