Runa Laila’s first music composition

Runa Laila has composed songs for the first time. The songs, five in number will feature in an audio album to be released by Dhrubo Music Station (DMS). The songs have been written by Gazi Muzharul Anwar and Kabir Bokul and arranged by London-based Raja Kashef. Runa has sung the first song which has already been recorded at the studio of band Chirkutt in Niketon, Gulshan on February 14. The song is titled "Ferate Parini Ar Tomake E Bhalobashay." The other singers include Luipa, Akhi Alamgir and most possibly also Runa's daughter Tani.
It might be added that this is not the first music composition by Runa Laila. Last year's film Ekti Cinemar Golpo by Runa Laila's husband Alamgir, had a song composed by her. But obviously that was a film song and her newer compositions are solely for the music industry. The upcoming album also features an audio song from Runa Laila after a long break.
For her return to the genre of purely audio-based songs Runa Laila has thanked Dhrubo Guha of DMS. She says that if Dhrubo had not shown his eagerness, the song, which has come out marvelously would not have been recorded at all. As a result now listeners would get her first song composed by herself.
