Biplobi Debendra Nath Ghosh's death anniversary today

The 20th death anniversary of great revolutionary activist Biplobi Debendra Nath Ghosh is today, January 11.On the occasion, Biplobi Deben Ghosh Smriti Rokkha Committee organised various programmes at Barishal cremation ground and Barishal Reporter's Unity.
Born on April 22, 1890, Ghosh was imprisoned for a total of 27 years for protesting against colonialists, imperialist and autocrats in the British and Pakistani periods and afterwards.
He was also a language hero and was a MPA of 1954.
He was jailed with founder of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1950.
