BGB member dies of heart attack during election duty

A member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), who was on election duty in Gafargaon of Mymensingh, died of cardiac arrest on Friday.

The deceased, Mofizur Rahman, 43, was working as a havildar in Mymensingh-39 BGB. His hailed from Satkhira district.

He fell ill at BGB temporary camp in Gafargaon Upazila Parishad compound around 3pm on Friday. Later he died on way to Gafargaon Upazila Health Complex.

Gafargaon Upazila Executive Officer and Assistant Returning Officer Kazi Mahbub Ur Rahman confirmed the news and said he died of heart attack.
