Fahmida Nabi composes for Bappa Mazumder

Fahmida Nabi and Bappa Mazumder are known as vocalist and music composer respectively. Though Bappa has also voiced for a number of songs, in a joint collaboration it would be expected that he would play the role of the composer and Fahmida that of the singer. But a new song titled "Metho Path" has introduced a reversal of this plan. Fahmida has composed the song while Bappa has sung it. Lyrics have been penned by Salma Moon. The song is a patriotic song.
"Metho Path" will be released as part of a joint-album named "Jiboner Joigaan" on January 15 next year. Of the fifteen songs of the album eleven have already been recorded. All the songs have been composed by Fahmida Nabi herself. Singers of the recorded songs are vocalists like- Rafiqul Alam, Samina Chowdhury, Fahmida Nabi herself and young icons like Elita Karim, Tashfee, Oyshee, Pancham, Barna Chakraborty, Rituraj and Anchal.
About the song Fahmida said, "To tell the truth to sing in the tune of Bappa is rather easy. Our musical understanding is good. So when I took up a composition project for a patriotic song I decided to compose for him. And without much ado he agreed!"
