Bibir Pabon @ Drik Gallery
If you are a girl, donít you love a fair where you can find unique sharees, ornaments and handmade crafts? Yes, there was a unique fair like that last week! 'Bibir Paban', hosted by Poter Bibi -- Fouara Ferdous, Noireeta -- Mrinmoyee Das and Artopolis -- Sumaiya Sayeed, was just not a good fair but a dream come true for people, especially, young women.
The fair was hosted for two days, 14th to 15th September and the number of visitors was marvelous. Isn't it obvious? The blend of elegant sharees, fashionable jewelry and various types of ornaments together would attract any woman on this planet. It was held on the first floor of Drik Gallery in the vast area.
The decoration of the fair was quite elegant and as it had a vast space, even after having many lovely visitors at a time, the place didn't seem congested at all. The stalls of Poter Bibi were decorated efficiently and on the other hand, Artopolis and Noireeta's stalls caught my eyes too.
The abundance of the unique sharees will catch anyone's eyes, the collection of Poter Bibi was so different from the usual sharee stores. Starting from children's sharees to sharees, which would fit any woman, was available, and the variation of the quality was astounding. The friendly approach of the owner of the store had made the event much more glorious for the women who visited the event.
After taking a brief glance on such beautifully unique and higher-end sharees, I had assumed that the price of the sharees would be sky-high but I was wrong! The sharees were quite affordable for its quality. The price range of the sharee was definitely one of the main attractions for the women who visited there as according to the quality, the price range was astonishingly cheap.
Hand-made crafts have become a very rare thing nowadays, although it is one of the biggest cultures of our country. Visiting the store of Artopolis had made me feel overwhelmingly great.
The ornaments of Artopolis have a fusion of Bengali and Western style, the combination turned out to be jaw-dropping with their owner's magnificent sense of designing crafts. Noireeta's handmade crafts and ornaments were extremely eye-catching, they were quite aesthetic indeed.
These three online stores have pulled off an unbelievable event, I could see the smile on the face of the customers while exiting the fair. According to the visitors, the thing they loved the most is the variation and uniqueness of Poter Bibi's sharee collection. On the other hand, the children's sharees were a great hit at the event too; the queue was surprisingly huge. This was a quite unique fair and definitely, the kind of fair most women of our country seek.
The owner Fouara Ferdous of Poter Bibi was extremely pleased and happy with the response as she never thought there would be such a huge crowd. As Poter Bibi is an online store, she had mentioned that meeting the customers in real life is indeed a beautiful experience for her and discussing the sharee in real life made her feel great. She has not planned for any other event yet but there might be another event pretty soon, according to her words, as this fair was an unbelievable success.
