Fahim represents FBCCI in China int’l business forum

FBCCI Senior Vice President Sheikh Fazle Fahim left Dhaka on Tuesday to represent the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) at the 13th China-South Asia Business Forum in Kunming, China.
The four-day forum jointly organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and People's Government of Yunnan Province, began on Tuesday and will conclude on Friday next.
The theme of this forum this year is 'Interconnection, Sharing and Win-win Cooperation'.
FBCCI Senior Vice President will make a presentation at the BCIM (Bangladesh, China, India, Myanmar) Business Forum and Business Matching session.  
The FBCCI leader, in his presentation will highlight the ways and means for enhancing trade and investment cooperation within China and the South Asian countries. He will invite the BCIM Countries to invest in oil refinery, Pharmaceuticals, Tourism and Agro based industry etc in Bangladesh.
Fahim will also urge the BCIM member Countries to import Bangladeshi RMG, pharmaceuticals, jute goods, leather goods, furniture, plastics  and ceramics products.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between FBCCI and CCPIT- Ningxia will be signed at the forum, to strengthen the cooperation of bilateral trade and investment and to improve information exchange.
FBCCI Senior Vice President will also attend Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Business Council Meeting to be held in Kunming on Friday next.
