A total of 95.54 percent students passed the Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations under Rajshahi Education Board this year which was 97.68 percent last year.
As many as 2,26,530 students came out successful under the Rajshahi Education Board this year.
Of the total 2,42,451 students appearing in the examinations, 37,633 students secured GPA-5 this year under the board.
The board authority announced the results at a press conference at its conference hall here this afternoon with Secretary of the Board Dr Anwarul Haque Pramanik in the chair.
Controller of Examinations Prof Tarun Kumar Sarker told the press conference that none could pass from five schools under the board this year.
The schools are Soipara Junior School, Bokhtiarpur Girls School, Belpukuria Junior Girls School, Kahalu Junior Girls School and Anarpur Junior Girls School. �BSS
