MJLBL Chairman Nazimuddin Chowdhury, flanked by MJLBL Managing Director Azam J Chowdhury and others, presiding over the 19th AGM of the company at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh, Dhaka on Sunday.
MJL Bangladesh Limited (MJLBL) approved 45 per cent Cash Dividend for the shareholders as the company earned the net profit of Tk 1,997 million out of the total revenue of Tk 8,079 million handled for the the year ending on June 30, 2017. The dividend was announced at the 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company held at the auditorium of the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh, Dhaka on Sunday. The high officials of MJLBL including a large number of shareholders attended the meeting, presided over by MJLBL Chairman Nazimuddin Chowdhury. MJLBL Managing Director Azam J Chowdhury along with the Directors Abdul-Muyeed Chowdhury, Md. Aminur Rahman, Md. Quamrul Hasan, Tanjil Chowdhury and Independent Director Dr. Mohammad Tamim attended the meeting. CEO, CFO, Company Secretary of MJLBL and shareholders also attended the meeting. The Chairman, The Managing Director and Directors affirmed their gratitude to the Shareholders and Regulatory Bodies. The meeting was concluded by the active participation, discussion and appreciation of the company Board of Directors and shareholders. Nazimuddin Chowdhury said, "I am proud to have all of you on this meeting. I appreciate your presence and cooperation. It's wonderful to witness the growth of the company and hopeful to see more growth in future".
