33 promoted to Addl DIG

As many as 33 police officials have been promoted to the rank of Additional Deputy Inspector General (Addl DIG) of Police.
The Public Security Division (PSD) of the Home Ministry on Wednesday issued a gazette notification in this regard.
The newly promoted police officials are Deputy Commissioners (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Harun-or Rashid, Shaikh Nazmul Alam, Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman, Mohammad Abul Fayez, Md Imam Hossain, Atika Islam and Joydev Kumar Bhadra; Sylhet Metropolitan Police DC Basudev Banik and Suzayet Islam; Rajshahi Metropolitan Police DC AKM Nahidul Islam, Superintendents of Police (SP) of Narshingdi Amena Begum, Sherpur's Rafiqul Hasan Ghoni, Manikganj's Mahfuzur Rahman, Brahminbaria's Mizanur Rahman, Magura's Munbur Rahman and Bogra's Md Asaduzzaman; and Special Superintendent of Police (SSP) of CID Md Rezaul Karim and SP of Special Police Battalion (SPBn) Haider Ali Khan and Special Branch of Police (SB) AZM Nafiul Islam and Md Azad Miah.
Besides, Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) of Police Headquarters Gazi Mozammel Haque, SM Akteruzzaman, Md Monirul Islam, Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan, Md Ruhul Amin, Md Rezaul Karim, Md Moniruzzaman and Kazi Ziauddin and National Telecommunication Monitoring Center's Additional Director (SP) Monir Hossain, Highway Police Comilla Zonal SP Poritosh Ghosh and Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) SP Mazid Ali have also got promotion to the rank of Additional Deputy Inspector General (Addl DIG) of Police
