Liberation War organiser Moksedur Rahman dies

Eminent journalist, educationist and Liberation War organiser Moksedur Rahman breathed his last at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College at Barishal following a cardiac arrest on Thursday evening.

Comrade Moksedur Rahman was former president of Communist Party Patuakhali district unit.

He left behind his wife and daughter to mourn his death, at the age of 89.

He was buried with state honour at Bishwas Bari in Nurainpur village of Surjomoni union in Bauphal upazila of Patuakhali district after his namaz-e-janaza following Jumaa prayers.

Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip ASM Firoz expressed his deep condolences on the death of the political leader.
