More than 2 lacs foreign employees are working in Bangladesh, who took almost five-billion-dollar in 2015 whereas almost 47% of our young graduates are unemployed.
There might be hundreds of reasons behind this scenario, of which resume writing is one. Another biggest lackings is confidence to express ourselves to impress the recruiters. Thus, I took resume writing as a new profession.
Why are the candidates pursing public jobs reluctant to the development of CV? What do you think?
There is a huge gap between education system and job market in our country. Thus,students are not skilled enough in different fields. Engagement in different types of part time job, tuition, volunteer experience, CSR activities, extra curriculum work, etc would make them confident and help them to build their career.
How much neutral/ideal the recruiters are in respect of Bangladesh?
There is a common myth that CV does not play any role, who is going to be selected is fixed before the interview. This is a wrong concept. In most of the cases, a candidate gets interview call after CV sorting. But, it is important to keep proper networking and develop healthy relationship with all.
Tell about the basic/common requirements the recruiters expect from the applicants pursuing corporate jobs?
HR people looks for extra-curriculum work, part time work, volunteer work, CSR activities, training in related fiels in a fresher's CV and in case of experts CV, they look for achievements. Moreover, confidence and awareness in related job feield highly required.
What are the steps for the students to follow, according to you, to be a corporate successful leader in future?
Young generation should utilize their free time to engage themselves in more work that will add value to their career from student life. This great learning scope and time will never come back in life again.
My vision is to enable our young generation to express their work and assist them as to the career development issues. We also would like to reach each and every students of all the universities of our country to train them on CV writing, interview, and constructive communication.
