13 sustain bullet wounds in Pabna villagers clash

PABNA, May 13: At least 23 people were injured including 13 bullet wounds over a land dispute at Lauachara village of sadar upazila on Saturday.
The injured were sent to Pabna Medical College and Hospital, said officer-in-charge of Pabna Police Station, Abdur Razzak.
Quoting the locals police said Rahim Pramanik and Habibur Rahman of same village had dispute over a piece of land since 2004.
This morning a supporters' group of Rahim attacked another group backed by Habibur with firearms, leaving at least 23 people injured along with 13 bullet wounds said the OC. Police visited the spot but no case was filed over the matter, he said.    —UNB
