Two found dead in two districts

At least two bodies were found in two districts- Comilla and Laxmipur, on Monday.
COMILLA: Police recovered a floating body of a Madrasa student from the Gumti River at Shibnagar area under Sadar upazila of the district on Monday.
He was identified as Imam Hossain Sajib, 14, student of Class IX of Shatora Islamia Darusunnah Madrasa and son of Tajul Islam of Race Course area.
Family sources said, Sajib went out from his house on Thursday for joining Ejtema, and since then he has been missing. On Monday local found the floating body in the river and informed the matter to the law-enforcers. Later, the police recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdur Rob, said a case was filed in this connection.
LAXMIPUR: Police recovered the hanging body of a schoolgirl from Manik Masterer Bari of Sonapur Kola Bazar area under Ramganj upazila in the district on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rupa Banik, daughter of Dipa Banik hailing from the area and student of Class IX.
Local sources said Rupa's family members scolded her as she failed in four subjects in the annual exams. As sequel to this, she committed suicide on the next day morning.
Officer-in-Charge of Ramganj Thana Md Tota Mia said that on information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
