Fast food hazards

Published : Saturday, 31 December, 2016 at 12:00 AM  Count : 437

The trend of eating fast food first started in the western countries but as time passed, it has become a favourite substitute food among the people of Bangladesh. Now it is common to see fast food restaurants in almost every area of the big cities in the country. Many people, especially young ones, prefer to eat fast food rather than normal routine food cooked at home such as vegetables, pulses, etc.

Due to the addiction for fast food, many health issues are reported that are severe and their ratio is alarmingly becoming high because of increased consumption of fast food. According to medical practitioners, eating fast food can cause depression other than health problems. However, another big issue is that high calories in this kind of food cause obesity, which in turn causes problems like heart diseases, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, etc.
To remain safe from all kinds of problems, we should get rid of addiction to fast food and adopt healthy food habits in our daily routine life.
