FFL now in 'B' category

Fine Foods Limited (FFL) has been placed in 'B' category from existing 'Z' category with effect from Thursday (December 29, 2016) as the FFL has reportedly disbursed 2 per cent stock dividend for its shareholders for the year that concluded on June 30, 2016.
As per SEC directive and BSEC order dated on October 27, 2015; the stock brokers and merchant bankers are requested not to provide loan facilities to their clients against trading of the shares of FINEFOODS up to 30 trading days from December 29, 2016.

Deal with BPDB extended for next 5 years

The extension of contract for 102 MW HFO based Narayanganj Power Plant of Summit Power Limited (SPL) for the next 5 years for supply of power has been executed with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) with effect from April 1, 2016.

BWTL sponsor to receive shares

Humayun Kabir, sponsor/ director of Bengal Windsor Thermoplastics Limited (BWTL), will receive 2,32,15,696 shares of the company from his wife Arifa Kabir, by way of gift outside the trading system of the exchange within next 30 working days from the date of issuance of approval letter by Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited (DSE).

Trial operation of River Terminal begins

After completing the facilities and obtaining required regulatory permissions, Summit Alliance Port Limited (SAPL) has begun trial operation of its River Terminal, located at Muktarpur on the bank of river Dhaleshwari in Munshiganj, by transporting a full container load or export cargo, duly stuffed and sealed after completing customs formalities to Chittagong Port for onward shipment to ultimate destination of the cargo.

CNA Tex director to sell shares

Sharmin Akther Lovely, director of C & A Textiles Limited (CNA Tex), will sell 6,30,000 shares (Bonus shares) out of her total holding of 65,26,800 shares of the company at prevailing market price through stock exchange (in the Public Market) within next 30 working days.

AFL to purchase land





The Board of Directors of Aman Feed Limited (AFL) has taken, among others, the decision to purchase 96.25 decimals of land adjacent to factory, Mouza: Singogati, P.S + P.O.: Ullapara, Dist. : Sirajgonj, at a cost of Tk 4,33,57,500 (including the registration costs).
