 Chhatra League leader ‘commits suicide’ in Chankharpool house The deceased was identified as Wasim Rana Tahsan, president of Kabi Nazrul Govt College unit Chhatra League, and also a master's student in the Islamic history department of the university. Sources said friends of Wasim broke down the door to his room, found him hanging and took his body down.  Later, he was taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at around 12:30am where the doctor on duty declared him dead. Inspector Md Bacchu Miah, in-charge of DMCH police outpost, said that the body has been kept at the DMCH morgue for an autopsy. He said they have already informed the matter to the Bangshal Police Station. NY |
