 Eid vacation in RMG factories from April 19 Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of Muslims, will be celebrated in the country from April 22 or 23, depending on the sighting of the moon. As per that, the garment workers will be given leave in phases from April 19. Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) informed the matter through a letter sent to member factories on Monday. Meanwhile, BGMEA has issued six guidelines for workers related to export-oriented garment industry for their safe movement during Eid. TF |
