 2 of a family killed in lightning strike in Barishal A man and his father-in-law were killed in a lightning strike at Mehendiganj upazila in Barishal city early Monday while going for fishing. The deceased were Rassel Bepari, 32, son of Shahid Bepari, and his father-in-law Shahid Bishwas, 69, of the upazila. According to Char Akokria union's village police Rafiq Dafader said the duo went to catch fish on Sunday night in Gozaria River after Taraweeh prayer. Other fishermen found their bodies in the early hours and informed the family. They died any time at night being hit by lightning strike, Rafiq Dafader said. TF |
