Young woman found hanging in Khilgaon house

The body of a young woman was recovered from a house in the capital's Khilgaon area on Sunday night.

Deceased Arpita, 23, worked at a call centre. She used to live with her husband in Nabinbagh. She hailed from Barishal.

The deceased's elder sister Mansura Akter Maisha said she went to Arpita's house on Sunday night getting her on mobile phone. There she found the door was locked from inside. Later, she broke open the door and found Arpita hanging with a ceiling fan.

Getting a phone call, Khilgaon police rused to the spot and recovered the body, said SI Sonia Parvin.

Arpita's husband Saif, work at a private farm, was not at home at that time.
