 Two fined in Savar for polluting air Two people have been fined for polluting air by keeping sand, soil, cement and bricks on open places at Savar upazila in Dhaka. A mobile court, led by executive magistrate Foizunnesa Akter, conducted drives in Harindhara and Hemayetpur areas on Sunday, said deputy director of Dhaka district, Department of Environment, Md. Johirul Islam Talukder. He said the magistrate fined two people Tk 1.7 lakh for polluting air by keeping sand, soil, cement and bricks on open places. OF/GY |
