A young man was killed after being hit by a truck at BG press area under Tejgaon Silpanchal Police Station in the capital. Deceased Akhlak Hossain Shovon, 30, was from Doulatpur upazila in Manikganj district. According to locals, a speedy truck hit Shovon's motorcycle BG press area, leaving the duo critically injured. Locals rescued them and took to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared Shovon dead. Tejgaon Silpanchal Police Station officer-in-charge confirmed the matter.
