 Two killed in Jhalakathi road accident Two men were killed as a covered van hit a motorcycle on the Khulna-Barishal highway at Rajapur upazila in Jhalakathi district on Friday night. The deceased were Ali Hayder Moharaj, 50 , son of late Abdul Karim Hawlader, and Anwar Hossain Shahin, son of late Nazem Talukder. According to locals and police, a Barishal-bound covered van from Mongla port hit the motorcycle, leaving its driver and pillion passenger dead on the spot. Rajapur Police Station officer in-charge Pulok Chandra Roy said being informed, police and Fire Service and Civil Defence members rushed there and recovered the bodies .
