Three drug peddlers held with cannabis in Sunamganj

Three drug peddlers were arrested by police at Dharmapasha upazila in Sunamganj district on Thursday afternoon.

The arrested were Amir Ali, 30, Imran Hossain Sumon, 19, and Kamal Mia, 20.

According to police, acting on a tip-off, they conducted an anti drug drive in Mahadipur Speedboat Ghat area and arrested them along with 20 kg of cannabis.

A case was filed against the arrested under Narcotics Control Act with Dharmapasha Police Station.





Dharmapasha Police Station officer-in-charge Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter.
