Woman killed in Nilphamari road mishap

A woman was killed in a road accident at Saidpur upazila in Nilphamari district on Wednesday morning.

The dead was Kalthi, 52, wife of Moslem Uddin, a resident of Aisdhal village under Kamarpukur union.

According to locals, the woman was going Kamarpukur area with her husband by an auto rickshaw. On the way, a bus from the opposite direction hit the auto van in front of Sajeda Cold Storage, leaving her dead on the spot.

Saipur Police Station officer-in-charge Saiful Islam confirmed the matter.
