Man crushed under train in Dinajpur

A man was crushed under the wheels of a train at Birampur upazila in Dinajpur district on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Momotaj Hossain, 47, son of late Nazir Uddin, a resident of Begumpur village in the upazila.

Parbatipur GRP Police Station officer in-charge AkM Nurul Islam said a Dhaka-bound train ran him over in Begumpur crossing area this morning when Momotaj was passing through the railway line, leaving him dead on the spot.





On information, police recovered the body, he added.
