 Students of 7 DU-affiliated colleges protest at Nilkhet over exam postponement Degree students of seven Dhaka University-affiliated colleges started sit-in blocking Nilkhet intersection on Saturday morning protesting the postponement of their examination. The protesting students said today was their last examination. They came to know about the postponement of the exam after reaching the examination centres this morning. They were not served any prior notice regarding the matter, the students alleged. Angered by the decision, the examinees blocked the Nilkhet intersection at 9:30am. Sharif Mohammad Farukuzzaman, assistant commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (New Market zone), said "We are trying to remove them from the road." TF |
