The court administration has issued a notice asking that judges and lawyers need not to wear gowns during virtual hearing considering the present COVID-19 situation in the country.
The notice was issued on Thursday as per the direction of Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique.
Both the Supreme Court and the High Court male judges will wear turned-up white collar and white shirt with white band while the female judges will wear saree or salwar kamiz and black coat during the hearing, the notice said.
The Appellate and HC Divisions resumed virtual judicial woks from Wednesday due to rapid surge of CCOVID-19 infection.
