Man stabbed dead in Bogura



A 35-year-old man was stabbed to death by miscreants at Matdali area in Bogura district town on Tuesday night.

Deceased Safiul Islam Piplu, 35, was the son of late Ainul Kazi, a resident of Uttarpara of the area.

The incident took place in the area around 11:45 pm. On information, police went to the spot and recovered the body.

The body was sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue.

Sadar Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Selim Reza said injury marks were found on the chest.

Filing of a case is underway in this connection.
