Maid dies falling off roof of city building

A domestic help died after falling off from the roof of city building at Uttara on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Lucky Akhter, 18, hailed from Sunamganj.





Uttara Pashim police station SI Md Milon said Lucky worked at Gora Chand Kundu's house on the sixth floor of a seven-storey building. Her blood-stained body was found on the ground floor of the building at about 7:30am and was rushed to Uttara Adhunik Hospital.

Later, she was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctors declared Lucky dead around 11am.

Owner of the house Gora Chand said Lucky might have been died falling off from the roof.
