DMP's Additional Deputy Commissioner Iftekharul Islam has requested the examinees, who will take part in the medical admission test on Friday (April 2), to be present at their respective centres by 8am.

He said, "Crisis of public transports may create on Friday as the vehicles starts carrying half of the passengers as per the government's directives following rapid spread of coronavirus. Considering the situation, the examinees have been requested to come out from their respective houses taking times.

And they will have to reach the examination halls by 8am on Friday, Iftekharul Islam added.

Around some 1.22 lakh examinees are expected to appear in this year's examination in 55 centres.

Earlier Health Minister Zahid Maleque said, "Coaching centers will remain closed and no photocopy machine will be allowed in the vicinity of the exam centers to prevent question paper leak."





Examinees will have to maintain three-foot distance, wear  mask and use sanitizers, the minister added.
