 6 held over clash in front of Law Minister Police have arrested six persons in a case filed over Friday's clash that took place between two groups in presence of Law Minister Anisul Huq in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria. Supporters of two mayoral candidates clashed on Friday that left 10 people injured. On Saturday night, police filed a case under Speedy Trial Act accusing 28 identified persons and 200/250 unidentified men. Additional police have been deployed in the district town on Sunday to avert further violence. The arrested are: Russel,30, Sumon Mia,25, Hridoy Khan,21, M Salahuddin,27, Robin Mia,20, and Qyayyum Mia,20. They all are listed accused. LY |
