Death of Anushka: Probe report submission Mar 21

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Yasmin Ara passed the order on Tuesday as the investigation officer of the case AFM Asaduzzaman, also an inspector of Kalabagan Police Station, failed to submit a probe report.
On February 16, the court asked the IO to submit the probe report to it by Tuesday.

Fardin Iftekhar Dihan, the lone accused in the murder after rape of Anushka, gave confessional statement before the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid's court on January 8.





Earlier on January 7, the victim's father filed the case with Kalabagan Police Station against Dihan under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act after the death of his 17-year-old daughter Anushka.
