Bangladesh whitewash West Indies

Bangladesh won by 120 runs in the final of three-match ODI series against West Indies at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium in Chattogram on Monday.

With three consecutive wins over touring West Indies, the hosts have gained full 30 super league points.

Batting first, tigers' opener Tamim Iqbal hit an innings of 64 off 80 balls with three fours and a six while Mushfiqur Rahim scored the same off 55 balls.

Mahmudullah also scored 64 off 43 balls with 3 boundaries and 3 over boundaries and Shakib Al Hasan scored 51 runs from 81 balls.

In reply, the hosts managed to 177 runs losing all wickets in 44.2 overs.

Rovman Powell scored 47 runs from 49 balls, Nkrumah Bonner 31 runs from 66 balls and Raymon Reifer 27 runs from 46 balls.

Bangladesh bowlers Mohammad Saifuddin picked up three wickets while Mustafizur Rahman and Mehidy Hasan Miraz bagged two wickets each.

Earlier, the visiting side skipper Jason Mohammed won the toss and opted to bowl first

Mushfiqur Rahim received the man of the match while the ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan won the man of the series.
