2 crab catchers killed in Sundarbans tiger attack

Two crab catchers have been killed by a tiger in the India's parts of Sundarbans.
The victims are Ratan,42, son of Kafil Uddin; and Mizanur Rahman, son of Mono Mistry; of Paschim Koikhali village in Syamnagar upazila of Satkhira.
The incident took place in Simkhali canal in the Indian part of Sundarbans on Thursday afternoon.
Another fisherman Abu Musa,41, who informed the matter to his relatives, remained missing.
Abu Musa's nephew Al Amin said a tiger attacked the trio while catching crabs in the canal on Thursday afternoon.
Musa fled to the jungle to save his life.
He also said Musa first informed his in-laws and they then informed his family about the matter.
Another source said members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) recovered the bodies and detained Musa.
But, it is not clear yet if Ratan and Mizanur were killed in tiger attack or in BSF firing.
Sundarbans Koikhali Forest Station in-charge Abu Sayeed said that he has heard that two fishermen came under tiger attack while catching crab in Indian part of the Sundarbans without permission.
BGB Satkhira Nildumur 17 battalion commander Lt Col Yasin Chowdhury said necessary steps would be taken to bring banck the bodies if the incident to be found true.
