Vaccine gifted by India to arrive Thursday Health Division Secretary Md Abdul Mannan informed this at a briefing held at the Prime Minister's Office on Wednesday. He said a special flight of Air India, carrying the consignment will arrive here on Thursday afternoon. From there, the vaccines will be taken to the EPI storage in Tejgaon. Besides, the first consignment of 50 lakh vaccines bought by Bangladesh from Serum Institute of India will arrive here on January 25. "Some 60 lakh people will be vaccinated in the first month and they will receive the second dose in the third month," said health secretary. On the first day, 25 persons including the frontliners will be given the vaccine shot at Kurmitola Hospital while 500 more given the next day at Kurmitola, Kuwait Moitree and DMCH, informed Abdul Mannan.
