Human chain demands arrest of those oppose Bangabandhu's statue

A human chain in Joypurhat district on Tuesday demanded arrest of those who are opposing the construction of  Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s statue.

It also protested the activities of the fundamentalists for creating confusion in public mind over the setting up of the sculpture.

Twenty socio-cultural organisations arranged the programme on Central Jam-e Mosque premises in the district town around 11am.
