Tax returns deadline extended till Dec 31 |
 Tax returns deadline extended till Dec 31 Today (Monday) was the last date for tax return submission. Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), announced confirmed the matter on Monday. He informed that the decision has been taken considering the coronavirus situation following the request by individual tax payers, businessmen, income tax lawyers and public representatives. NBR source said Bangladesh has more than 50 lakh taxpayer identification number (TIN) holders. And around 15 lakh registered taxpayers filed returns up to November 26. LY |
