AL-backed panel wins Jhenidah Bar polls

Adv Khan Akhtaruzzman from Awami League-backed panel and Adv Zakaria Milon from BNP-backed panel have been elected president and general secretary of Jhenidah District Bar Association.

Awami League-backed panel won 13 posts while BNP panel bagged six posts in the election held on Thursday.

The voting was held from 9am to 4pm.





After counting the votes, Advocate Azizur Rahman, election commissioner of the polls, announced the polls result at midnight.
