32 villages of Daulatkhan flooded by high tide

More than five hundreds houses under 14 wards outside the embankments in Daulatkhan upazila of Bhola have been flooded due to tidal water of the River Meghna.

Roads, fish enclosures, valuable goods of the traders, domestic animals were also damaged due to increase of the water level.

Bhabanipur UP chairman Golam Nabi Nabu said all wards outside the embankments have been flooded. Besides, over three hundreds houses including the government quaters of Char areas were also went under water of 5-6 feet high tide.

The inhabitants of the areas are marooned.

Shoe trader Abu said his all goods were damaged by tidal water.
