Sabrina pleads not guilty to alleged money misappropriation

Dr Sabrina Arif Chowdhury, chairman of JKG Healthcare,has pleaded not guilty in a Dhaka court on Monday to alleged misappropriation of money after issuing fake coronavirus report.
Sabrina's lawyers also claimed in the court that their client also did not know about the misdeeds of her husband.
Earlier, Tejgaon police produced her before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahinur Rahman seeking four days' remand for Sabrian.
During hearing, state counsel Azad Rahman sought for Sabrina's remand while her lawyers Obaidul Haque and Saiful Islam Sumon pleaded for their client's bail.
Hearing both sides, the judge put her on a three-day remand.
Standing in the dock, Sabrina told the court, "I worked with my husband's organisation with innocence belief. I don't know about his misdeeds. I'm not guilty."
